Return to US, Canada, Mexico

Off to Alaska & Canada ~ Jun-Aug 2011

Summer of 2011 took us up through British Columbia Canada, into Alaska, and back down through the Yukon Territory and Alberta, Canada. From there we traveled down through Montana into Wyoming, over to South Dakota and Nebraska and finally down into Colorado. Our trip ended in Colorado Springs where we began work on the 1st Colorado USA Procycling Challenge professional bike race.

We traveled through as much of Alaska as we could and where we could find roads to take us. We visited National Parks and Preserves, Alaska State Parks, and many beautiful Alaskan towns. Son Carl and granddaughter Cece joined us for two weeks and we had a wonderful time with them. We saw mountains, wilderness, wildlife and ventured up to the Arctic Circle.
